un coeur brisé semblable au verre brisé
[a broken heart is like broken glass]
ce qui jadis était une belle bouteille,
[what was once a beautiful vase,]
aujourd’hui éclaté sur le sol, sans merveille
[now alone and shattered on the grass]
chaque fissure reflétant les amours passé
[with each crack reflecting the past]
fragile comme les pétales d’une fleur fanée
[as fragile as the petals of wilted flowers]
dangereuse comme un piqûre d’abeille
[as dangerous as a bee sting]
et pourtant sa presence est si attirante
[yet its presence is so appealing]
car même brisée, elle scintille au soleil
[because even broken, it still shines]
alors ramasse la, ramasse les morceaux de son âme
[So pick her up, pick up the pieces of her soul]
et reconstruit la, reconstruit la en œuvre d’art
[and rebuild her into a work of art]
pour qu'elle retrouve sa lumière
[so she can find her light]
malgré les cicatrices et les douleurs
[despite the scars and the pain]
