Rajata Hakim delves into the processes of painting, sculpting, and writing. His works celebrate the human experience by embracing fleeting moments and finding beauty in seemingly ordinary things. He aims to foster connection and empathy between himself, others, and the world. His creations are not merely self-expression but an invitation to interact more authentically and mindfully with the world.
Rajata Hakim is a talented artist dedicated to abstract painting. He began a Residency Programme at TULISAN to create an art project titled ‘Chance’. Chance represents the potential to open new opportunities. The challenges in Indonesia are considerable for young, talented artists with extraordinary achievements in the arts, given the sometimes inadequate infrastructure and limited government support. Therefore, every artist must seize the moment to realise their dreams. TULISAN AIR (TULISAN Artist-in-Residence) is a platform that supports Rajata’s talent.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
TULISAN AIR (TULISAN Artist-in-Residence) is a program dedicated to creating a sustainable cycle of art editions for inspiring artists. Our core objective is to support and nurture the artist’s creative potential during this residency period. We curate his artwork to manifest a collection of limited edition prints, from Giclée to other wearable art pieces, that lights our homes and delight our souls.
FEATURES:
- The interior of the bag uses our signature lining. This lining fabric is a highly durable water-repellent fabric, created using the most advanced technology from recycled PET bottles and post-consumer materials.
- Comes with a dustbag, made from pure cotton textile.
MATERIALS:
An artisanal accessories collection crafted using sustainable digital print technology on natural cotton canvas. Since 2010, we have been publishing limited-edition artwork through the manual serigraphy technique. Each piece embodies a semiotic appreciation of simple matters, brought to life by an ardent labour of love in sewing and hand-pulled printing. Unlike our traditional serigraphy collection, this collection captures super-fine, colourful impressions with reactive inks, allowing our canvas to convey a sense of time, movement, or spaces.

Due to our hand-made serigraphy process, every printing on each product is unique and varied from one to another. It is impossible to choose the printing of each product to be exactly the same on the showcased photos on our site or social media. These photos are for visual references of the products’ shapes only. The colours and alignments will never be the same from one print to another due to this manual labour.
