Unfortunately, in the 1980s, the Javan tiger was declared extinct due to illegal poaching and habitat loss due to colonialism and rapid industrialization. Hopefully, this ‘Taiga’ will be an inspiration to revisit history and remember the life of Javanese ancestors who greatly honoured the planet earth.
