Sapovnela

In Georgian, Sapovnela means “the flower that nobody can find.” Sapovnela by Rajata Hakim, Tulisan’s Artist in Residence (AIR) in 2023-2024, conveys a metaphor for a feeling that can only be enjoyed for a moment before it disappears. This AIR collection presents his expressionist paintings and poetry, articulating love and longing.

Rajata Hakim explores painting, sculpting, and writing. His art celebrates the human experience by embracing fleeting moments and finding beauty in the seemingly mundane. He aims to create a sense of connection and empathy between himself, the others, and the world.
