Coconut Cloak

Coconut Cloak

Coconut water is my ultimate drinking partner - especially when I need to hydrate after a long day out. It has everything you need to replace the essentials liquid that energized your body: high potassium and minerals. It is also a great beverage when having a get together on a hot day. [...]
Monolog Morning

Monolog Morning

Monolog at Senayan, is one of my family's Saturday mornings destination for quality time and coffee. My mom and I would grab our favorite Tulisan totes (hers a Yellow Mustard Beach Bag, mine a Purple Plum Siesta) and bring the girls to have brunch there. The shop operates daily from 7.00 am, like how most bakery in Europe would start. With their fine selection of pastries - crisp layers of croissant and cinnamon rolls - I feel like entering a bakery shop in France. On weekdays, I often stop for a cup of espresso before my day starts. [...]
Sketching a Routine

Sketching a Routine

There is a mania sweeping over Tulisan’s office. Everybody is sketch-crazy. It started during a lull betwen waves of flocking visitors on the Camden Market as Suryo sat down and began to doodle. What  started as an idle curiosity soon turned into actions. Melissa give an impromptu lectures on shapes shadings and fluidity of line, while Suryo provide the more technical aspects on how to draw object using grid to get the right proportion of things. Soon everyone in Tulisan, from finance to logistics, was into it. [...]

Ann Siang Hill

Ann Siang Hill

In one of my trip to Singapore, Myra urged me to pay a visit to Ann Siang Hill Road. She was assured it was an area I would not want to miss. Indeed she was right. Ann Siang Hill Road was a quiet lane across the hustling beat of Chinatown. Myra and I passed the Pagoda Street and, within seconds, the tranquility of the colorful east-meets-west architectures enveloped our steps. The area was named after Chia Ann Siang, a wealthy Malacca-born Hokkien Chinese sawmiller who bought Ann Siang Hill and Mount Erskine area. [...]
A Camden Market Story

A Camden Market Story

Camden Market Pop Up Installation that we held at Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall was one week filled with fun and excitement. From the installation and preparation (which you can also watch in our Vimeo), the colorful products, and the photo fiesta. (By the way, check the photo competition line up in our Facebook album. Camden Market

Camden Market

Since 1974, Camden Market has been the most popular open-air market in London, showcasing handmade arts and crafts. It is a very eccentric district and is also known as the birthplace of Rock and Britpop artists. Many music legends such as Sex Pistols, Jimi Hendrix, The Stone Roses, and Amy Winehouse had started their carrier and made their marks in this place. Prince (a.k.a. [...]
A Chinatown Exploration

A Chinatown Exploration

Chinatown always intrigued me. The crowd, the food, the smell, the people are one of a kind. It brings back the memory of my childhood. This attraction  continues during my travel. Chinatown appears in almost all parts of the world, a result of  Chinese long history of exploration and finding new worlds. Each Chinatown is enriched with the local culture that nurture them. [...]
