‘Pete’ collection is inspired by a bean plant used in many Indonesian dishes. The collection encompasses hand-screened canvas bags, totes, wallets, purses, compartments, pouches, and accessories. ‘Pete’ has become one of the most coveted art by Tulisan’s collectors. This edition is an illustrated fragment of ‘Sound of Dawn’, a visual essay that examines the concept of radical self-love. This sensual prose is about a spiritual awakening to discover bliss within ourselves. In the spirit of impressionism, the artist extrapolated her prose and created a modern botanical textile to convey a bold sense of vigour and innocence.
