Taiga
Taiga celebrates the Tiger Lunar Year. The blending of indigo blue and coral red strokes depicts courage and an unyielding spirit. Once upon a time, Java was a lush island, dense with tropical forests, diverse fauna, and flora. Javanese people live with respect for nature. Unfortunately, in the 1980s, the Javan tiger was declared extinct due to illegal poaching and habitat loss due to colonialism and rapid industrialization. Hopefully, this Taiga will be an inspiration to revisit history and remember the life of Javanese ancestors who greatly honoured the planet earth.
