The Novela Bag Pinisi Classic Edition is a quiet reflection on storytelling and craftsmanship—two elements that define Tulisan’s creative journey. Inspired by the Pinisi, Indonesia’s legendary sailing vessel, this edition captures the spirit of continuity and grace: how stories, like ships, travel across generations, carrying memory and meaning within their form.
Rendered in hand-pulled serigraphy on unbleached cotton canvas, the artwork translates the rhythm of waves and sails into geometric harmony. It is a reminder that movement does not always mean haste; sometimes it is a steady drift guided by purpose and care.
Compact yet expressive, the Novela Bag is designed to hold the essentials while maintaining a refined, structured silhouette. Crafted from water repellent canvas, it is light to carry yet strong in character, bridging artistry and utility in everyday life.
This edition includes an 1830 Bag Charm and a Bien Strap (100 cm), offering versatile styling options. Each piece is handmade in Jakarta in limited quantity, embodying Tulisan’s belief that design is a vessel for human stories—anchored in tradition, yet always setting sail toward what is next.
