This beautiful hand-made serigraph features a stunning design inspired by Audre Lorde’s powerful essay “The Master’s Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master’s House.” As you may know, “terbit” is an Indonesian word meaning “to rise” or “to dawn,” and it was chosen as the name for this edition because it represents the personal awakening that inspired the creation of this piece. We hope that the Terbit textile edition will serve as a reminder of the importance of striving for progress and change in our lives and the world around us.
