Growing up in a tropical country, I had moments when I took granted of the year-long sun that shines in between the tree branches and fall into shades. It was not until I lived through Maine’s winter that I understood why summer is so valuable.

As much as I love being tucked in during rainy days, having the sun rays on my skin is haven. It is time to go out and have some cool ice tea or lemonade and have the wind pass through your open fingers.

Now, let’s escape for lunch at the park and let the sun caresses your skin as you greet the carnations a good day. – Rassi Narika
