Celebrate music through ‘Étude2’ collection of canvas bags, totes, wallets, purses, compartments, pouches, and accessories. Each item is hand-crafted in the traditional way in Indonesia using sustainable methods and ethical practices. Étude is a short musical arrangement, usually for a specific instrument, designed as practice material for improving a particular musical skill. ‘Étude2’ was created by Melissa Sunjaya and was first published in 2018 as part of her visual essay ‘Lelono’. This drawing was her visual exploration based on a contemporary musical technique by Arnold Schoenberg, also known as ‘Serialism’. It is a composition system in which all colour notes are of equal importance.
