Fuga X2

Fuga is the third Prints Edition of the Rolas collection. ROLAS { X2 } collection celebrates Tulisan's 12ᵗʰ anniversary as the publisher of exclusive hand-pulled serigraphy editions in Indonesia. Each of these limited edition pieces features illustrations and designs by Melissa Sunjaya. Her Javanese monogram 'mo-so' (meaning: time or era) marks a new transitional period of her artistic path as she explores the visual poetry of abstract, nature, and botanical elements.

An attitude to forget perfection, which is hard to obtain, and to see what we have in the present to reach progress. I believed that wishful dreams were never an impossible matter. If it became difficult to accomplish the dream, we just had to repaint our dreams. I visualized this attitude with a composition of pen scratches, chaotically overlapping each other between dreams and realities. –MS
